So, all of Europe has stricter gun laws?? Yup, Switzerland certainly does since it's mandated that men of age join the military and remain as reservists for a set period of time, during which they must keep their rifle and a certain amount of ammunition in their house at all times... that's certainly more strict than our laws (though I think I'd prefer their method), and from a neutral country to boot!

As for the other countries having few deaths... one of three things is true in every case:

1. They're a small country... of course they'll have few gun deaths if they're smaller

2. They have severely limited freedoms in general (not just as regards to the possession of firearms).

or

3. Due to the control of firearms, their violent deaths take the form of stabbings and beatings.

If I've learned on thing in life, it's that people who are committed to causing another harm, will do so regardless of what you do or do not allow them to have. If all they have is rocks, they'll kill their fellow man with rocks.

Anyways, my .02 in response to the stupid hippy liberals... they give us normal, well-adjusted liberals a bad name!
