After basically giving up for a while when they removed the status screen I randomly checked my login and saw that my options had changed to allow changing address, etc. Then when I got home yesterday and checked my mail, there was my plastic. Ugh, glad the wait is over.

Physically submitting documents?
I've submitted my documents online, I'm not sure they went through. It's been a month with no status change. I still have the original paper documents. I've heard of people actually physically submitting their documentation in person. Since I live in the hill country, this seems like a better option...

Wow. I called DPS today to see why my status hadn't been updated in a month. The lady who answered was incredibly rude and told me that it would take 2 months for the process to even start. When I asked her if that meant it was supposed to take 4 months total, she curtly said "Yes!." After...
