Better yet do away with the notion of 'hate crime' since it's another form of discrimination. Every crime could be considered a hate crime if any/some crimes are considered so. "Hate crimes" are another of the "feelings" groups inventions. They should be done away with along with "affirmative action" (code for discrimination), undocumented workers (code for criminal invaders) and any other forms of "feels good" or "sounds pretty" masking of the truth.

I have frequently suggested hanging at the county seat courthouse of the county where a capital crime took place, at 17:00 Friday, with orders for the sanitation department to remove the remains first thing Monday morning before anything else. I'm told I'm cruel and/or crazy. Whatever, I believe in many instances such as this one it would be less punishment than fully warranted and possibly serve as a deterrent to some for the future.

Works for me. Our poor sensitive liberal friends would go apoplectic though at the thought of not helping and rehabilitating the poor unfortunate little darlings who couldn't know better and couldn't help themselves, poor things.
