Re: As Violence Hits Rich Neighborhoods, Liberals And Ex-Radicals Buy Guns And Mobilize To Oust Progressive DAs
My risk / profit equation says that crime will continue until the risk substantially outweighs the rewards. There's a reason why home invasions are common in big cities but rare in the rural areas of Texas where law enforcement is sparse. Unless and untill that reason becomes prevalent in the areas...

I too quit buying and wearing Levi's years ago. When they first started their neo/nuevo popularity crap. Wranglers are available in FR and hold up in my work.

I like Kimbers. Never had any problems. Of course I have only owned or fired the 1911 patterned Kimbers. Then again, I tend to like 1911 patterns. Of course I was started with a 1911 and Colt Military Revolver as a kid, 1911's in the service, and so on.

Re: Discount Tire using the same tactics as Oil Change places
Have been using DT since returning home 25 yrs ago. Where once there was a single store 8 miles away, I now have at least 4 now. Two less than 3 miles away, depending on whether I want to go West or South. I have always had good service from them. 15 yrs ago my wife knew her tires needed rotation. T...

Switch out or EDC both a Canik TP-9 Elite SC and/or S&W Performance Shield .45 for work days. Really love my Kimber. Considering keeping the Shockwave 590M in the truck for work commutes and at the various vendor parking lots. Would hate to see the Forum go. I am still reading old articles and t...

Apologize in advance, but my opinion is the folks pushing this (look behind the curtain, not the talking head on the picture screen) know that their number 1 objective is going to be accomplished. The primary objective is the destruction of the Republic of the United States of America. Whether it is...

Re: The First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States
Many years ago I came home on "Leave" for just a few days. Time was of the essence. I had very little luck for the previous few months locating a church that would wed my fiance and myself. Letters and phone calls received negative replies. It seems folks did not want to perform the ceremo...

Re: Corona Virus (COVID-19)( SARS-CoV-2) from China: Its going to be bad.
Call me crazy (I apologize in advance, this is probably going to be long) but here is what I think maybe the end game: The government knows that the Health Care system could not handle the total load if we went for the "herd immunity". With a very large percentage of the work force sick th...

Re: Run on Ammo
That is a great price. I thought I did ok at the Shoot Point Blank in Cypress yesterday. CCI/Speer 9mm 115gr for 229.00 per 1000. It was a little less than that with my membership. I picked up a box for myself and one for a friend, so it was 245.00 OTD including my targets for a little practice sess...

The only thing that surprises me is that they are still in business. I guess not enough of us quit buying from them after SH. I know when folks inquire with me about on-line sources I warn them about CTD and explain their prior actions.
