Re: Church and Hospital carry
Not in my experience. The one I have experience with in fact sent out letters asking parents to not open carry even though they know legally it is allowed. And this one is housed in a church.

Re: CC on Private University Campus
I went to an event open to the public at a local private Christian school recently. I CCd as there were no signs on any buildings or doors or at all that I could see. However, the next day I notice this school has 4-5 signs posted outside, alongside some (not all, as I didn't pass any the night bef...

Re: invest in a belt!!!
I can't agree with this enough. I tried a normal leather belt for awhile, then spent around $100 (iirc) on a good reinforced leather gunbelt. Night and day difference.

Re: Church with Preschool
If it helps, last year my youngest went to two different pre-schools at different churches (M-W and Tu-Th). Both schools sent home a letter saying while CC was allowed (neither church prohibits carry), they asked everyone to not open carry just because it might scare some of the wee ones. Seems to i...

SOG Flash II with the safety lock removed (prevents blade from opening when engaged - which happens sometimes in your pocket).

Re: TTPD officer killed...
Just heard he was being brought in for questioning about drugs they found in his room or something -- someone didn't search him or do a good job. Damn shame.

Re: TTPD officer killed...
Was just coming here to post about this. Crazy.
Story says they brought in a student for a 'welfare check' and the student pulled a gun once inside the police building.
1) What is a 'welfare check'?
2) Why wouldn't someone being brought in for one not be searched?

Re: Interesting going out in public as a LTC
Been carrying for 30 years, all day, every day. Zero asks. Your sensitivity to printing will diminish over time. Most folks today are either too busy staring at their phones to notice you or are carrying themselves. This right here. At first you (at least I was and others I've talked to) are hypers...

Re: Cities improperly posting 30.06 signs?
Are the procedures in this thread still correct? The South Plains Fair has posted 30.06/.07 signs at the entrance to the South Plains Fairgrounds in Texas, which is owned (as far as I can tell) by Lubbock County, making the signs invalid. I know the AG has ruled that the governmental entity cannot ...

So basically these signs come down to a 'beat the rap, but not the ride' situation possibly?

If you just need to capture the steps, Windows 10 has it built in:
