Did some checking around and found one discussion where many people received factory mags with the spring in the mag inserted upside down! Causing the same malfunction you described. They reported that turning the spring around in the mag corrected the problem.

Another option may be Wolff Replacement mag springs (+5%).

The guy who told me to contact Ables said to get the mags with the black follower(aftermarket).

What is your factory follower? If it is steel then call Ables back and ask if the ones they have in stock have the BLACK follower.
