To many countries guns DO fall in to the "that same sort of crud".

And Google doesn't want to just be America's search engine, but the entire world.

I'll be honest... I'm all for supporting 2A rights... and also Texas CHL rights.

But I love me some google... I don't think I would switch even with their adwords policy.
