Now I realize there are exceptions to everything and there are people that have overcome the above. However, they definitely make it more challenging.
I'll agree with you on most of those points and add the elimination of corporal punishment to that list.

Re: Shooting at Oregon community college.

In those two cases, I'd certainly agree that it appears to be a bad combination.

What right does LEO have to confiscate all the mother's guns?
As the mother (facilitator?) of mass-murderer, I think her own life is in danger now.

Is this the same mother who knew he had mental problems and allowed him access to guns?
Of course, but the question was a serious one. Regardless of whether you or I or the State thinks she was irresponsible or negligent in giving a troubled youth access to firearms, is there existing law that enables the state to disarm a citizen in such a case?
Im no expert in Oregon law, but I'd guess they have a law in place to remove guns from irresponsible or negligent owners.

No he was NOT ever a soldier, he was an enlisted recruit, he was in the army for less than 30 days and administratively discharged for failure to adapt. Again he was NEVER a soldier so please don't use that term in reference to him. Thank you for listening to this public service announcment
:iagree:

Getting REAL tired of listening to people call him a soldier too. He didn't make it out of basic training. In this day and age if you can't get through that, you're pretty much hopeless.

It's getting old. He knows he's full of it, everyone with half a brain knows he's full of it and the media is still eating it up.

How did you find it? I haven't seen anything about this guy at all, except that he's dead.
Oddly enough, it turns out that the clowns at 4Chan may be the ones outing him.

Forgive me for noting the uncomfortable tones in which CNN just interviewed someone who pointed out that berserkers would know they wouldn't face armed resistance in gun free zones.
I watched CNN for about 3 minutes before it went back to Fox. The condescending anti gun garbage gets me every time. I'm sure they won't interview that person again

Coworker just asked me about that one. If it was combined to one classroom/floor then that sound may not travel very far. I'd really doubt a suppressor was used in something like this, but who knows what's going on with this guy.

Part of the issue may be the number of listeners. Last I saw it was over 22,000. Sometimes that overwhelms their server.
Thanks for the tip. Just picked that app up, working well.
