I'm not surprised. A private sale is also the BEST way to buy a used gun. The only trick is knowing exactly what you want and what you're willing to pay in different conditions or configurations. You may run into a few people who don't really want to sell, so be prepared to move on with a polite "no thanks" when they ask 90% of what the gun is selling new at the dealer tables.joe817 wrote:IMHO, the BEST place to sell or trade your gun would be at the largest gun shows you can find.
