Re: Planning has started for this year's event

I hope to attend and to bring my husband as well.

The drive means that we won't be attending anything on Friday.

Lunch last year was delicious, but a bring your own would be fine too. I still want a fashion show, though

Re: Why Did it Have to be ... Guns?

I like this argument as much as Why the Gun is Civilization. Thanks for sharing it so I can plagiarize it in discussions with my friends and family.

I don't know much about the property law in Texas, but I think it's outrageous to just go shoot whatever you feel like on someone else's property. If I were the landowner, I'd be very upset too. And, honestly, if it were my land, I'd want to press charges. I can't even express how astonished I am th...

Can we confine the Paul bashing to things he's actually said or implied he believes or is going to do? Please. Pretty please with sugar on top? If you want to tell me that Paul has no chance of winning the Republican nomination, fine. Having spent the last view months watching the way the mainstream...

While I appreciate that it's hard to stray from life-long loyalty to the Republican party (and I'm originally from Louisiana, so I know what it's like to be a Republican in hard times), I think the slate of so-called first tier candidates exposes a serious sickness in our party. Why do so many candi...

This is because most women believe if the cooperated, are reasonable and do not antagonize the attacker that the attacker will respond and not hurt them. Sexual Assault is a crime of violence, not sex. I don't think it works like that exactly. This survivor did not appear to have any plan in the ev...

Traffic arrests

If you were arrested for failing to pay the ticket on a non-DWI traffic violation, do you need to get a certified copy of anything? The 2 cases are as follows: (a) failed to pay inspection sticker ticket, was arrested, paid fine, was released. (b) failed to pay speeding ticket, was arrested, paid ti...

If you're interested in IDPA, The Terrell Rifle and Pistol Club has a fun and friendly match every third Saturday. I'm a total noob, and they have welcomed me with open arms. And they are a little closer to the both of us

This event was fantastic. Thanks again to everyone who put it together and made it go. I really enjoyed the women's seminar. I wish that it had made it onto the schedule so that everyone knew it was going on. Also, I was a little discomfited by the XY peanut gallery. I don't mind shooting in a mixed...
