Re: S&W MP 15 Sport
I decided to go with the Ruger AR556, picked it up today. I thought that with the 1in 8 twist it would be better for a wider range of bullet weights than the M&P with the 1 in 9. I'm going to the range tomorrow and check it out. I'm sure that a new trigger is going to be necessary, and I will mo...

Re: Does anyone carry a Sig P938?
now the safety is hard to go back into the safe mode. My P938 had the same problem after I loaned it out. I sent it back to Sig & they found the sear pin was broken. Apparently, someone let the hammer drop while the slide was off. Try this: With the hammer cocked, the safety is hard to engage. ...

Re: Does anyone carry a Sig P938?
I have a 938 and I was really disappointed with it when I first got it. The hammer would follow 2-4 time through 1 mag. I had it returned to Sig and they worked that problem out, but now the safety is hard to go back into the safe mode. I am thinking about sending it back to Sig again. Other than th...

S&W MP 15 Sport
Does anyone have one of these, and is so what do you think about. I want an entry level AR and am undecided about what to buy. Any info will be appreciated.

Re: Semi-Autos or Revolvers for In-Car Defense
I would think that the weapon that you carry most would be the one you would want in any case. I never carry a revolver, though I have a few, so what ever situation I find my self in I will have the weapon that I am most comfortable with. If attacked in a car, I will pull out either the Kimber CDP ....

Re: Got my P938 back..
you must have gotten a bad apple which is rare from them. i've had since they came out, 5 different p938's in different colors and never had hiccup in any of them. i also have 2 p238's and neither one of them has had a flaw either with a combined total of over 2k rounds! it might be a pain but keep...

Re: Got my P938 back..
I have only fired 50 rounds since I got it back, but I plan to shoot more tomorrow. I do find that the safety is MUCH harder to flick on and off than it was before I sent it in. I ask the shop guy about it and he also found it to be real stiff. I will give it some time but I am really not happy with...

Right you are…nobody will see it anyway. I am trying to find an extended mag and I think they are stainless also. The Annoyed Man wrote:What he said ^^^. Plus, I'd wager that the stainless mag is a better unit. It's inside the gun where I can't see it, so I wouldn't let that color bother me.

Re: Got my P938 back..
11 days is pretty darn good. Knowing Sig your gun will be working as advertised. The 238/938 have had a number of magazine related issues. If I remember correctly the 238 is on the 4th generation of mags so they might have replaced the one in your 938 in order to make sure all would work properly. ...

Got my P938 back..
I just got my 938 back from Sig, as you may recall it was brand new and the hammer followed. Sig said that they replaced the hammer, sear, and the main spring housing. They also said they test fired it with no malfunctions. I won't be able to go to the range until Tuesday to give it my own try out. ...

Well, you are in disagreement with Jeff Cooper. When I was there he always stressed "In a fight ...front sight"AndyC wrote:I shoot with both eyes open, but can't get over this bullseye-shooter insistence on "focus on the front sight".

Re: SIG P938 pocket carry?
I comfortably carried mine in slacks, jeans, and in an ankle holster. My concern lately has been finding the top round of the magazine falling out loose when I release the mag. I put it aside for awhile until I get a chance to put it through another round of paces. Mine did that also, but always fe...
