Re: CHL's and felony charges?
After reading some of the responses in this thread and seeing some people ineligible to get a CHL in Texas but is able to get an out of state license to carry, are the charges/convictions not serious enough to prohibit them from owning or purchasing a firearm for them to carry with said out of stat...

Re: CHL's and felony charges?
I think I am with gigag04 on this. Disagree. Burg of a hab, while not violent, definitely affects people. Youve been there when you take that report and the wife is too scared to even stay at the ransacked house. It's defiantly not a victim-less crime in the mental sense! It's one thing if a non vi...

Re: CHL's and felony charges?
17 year old boy crawls in through girlfriend's bedroom window. She may have even invited him in, but did not have the authority to do so. Dad discovers boyfriend I'm not a lawyer but I would think this type of situation would fall under Criminal Trespass which is a Class B midemeanor, or class A if...

Re: CHL's and felony charges?
After all Laws are absolute, written by men that are felons themselves, Joe Driver (Now a FELON) If he was convicted then his CHL will be revoked too. Those are the rules. So be it. I will carry under Floridas CHL those are also the "rules". And I hope National right to carry passes too. ...

Re: CHL's and felony charges?
Gambit - I have the exact charge as you and my CHL wasn't revoked. It does expire on my birthday next year so i assume I'm screwed after that....just wondering why yours was revoked after being issued? Dbox, I was renewing my Lincense and it brought this added clause (changed in 2009) to thier atte...

Re: Hello everyone updates for an old issue
Yes their answer was still no. it was the same email above with an added line . basically paraphrasing number 33 of their eligibility Q&A.
They dont seem to take into consideration any new data or why i took the time to type up the long email and question.

Re: Hello everyone updates for an old issue

Re: Hello everyone updates for an old issue
It seems as though they didnt. I just cut and pasted everything in the email they replied with. I guess they are leary and already have predjudices when someone of questionable past inquires about carrying a firearm. I have to keep in mind that they do not know the back story. All they know is that ...

Re: Hello everyone updates for an old issue
Uhg.. I got this reply. I thought it was very lazy answer in my opinion. It was cut and pasted into a reply email from thier Q&A page. Seemed like they didnt even read my email. I replied with the details but I dont know; I may have to retain a lawyer to look into it. removed I didnt read thier ...
