yes, friends that took the class with me already have their license, this is day 42 for me and still waiting

Submitted on December 29th. The friendly folks at the DPS say that all they are waiting for is the Texas background check and they don't know why it hasn't come back yet. It was sent for processing over a month ago and seems to have just gone dormant.

My status changed this morning!!! 38 days from submit to status change.

My husband who had the same schedule as me got his permit on 1/30/15. So not fair!!

Firefly your status changed on 1/30 that means your plastic is on the way it only took you 19 days, today is day 46 for me and still no status change.
