Re: Texan traveling to New Mexico.
Thanks guys, also one last question. I would assume that we can carry concealed as we have a Texas LTC right?

Texan traveling to New Mexico.
Is there anything I need to be careful with? I know they honor Texas's permit but want to make sure I don't unintentionally violate any rules/laws. I think there is a BP check point that has re-opened, how do I approach that? First time carrying out of state here. Thanks

Re: LTC Renewal Time
Well, talked to DPS again yesterday and the lady stated the license was good to go. That my asking for a supervisor pushed things along. Hmm, why do we have to call to speed things along and others get their renewals so quickly? Today my status shows Print pending , background complete. :tiphat: An...

Re: LTC Renewal Time
Ok, went back to do a little research on the renewals. Is it me or is there a trend occurring here? The farther you are from Austin , especially if you are to west of Texas , the longer your renewal will take? If this is true then that is bothersome! Look, at the renewals serviced in a quick time. I...

Re: LTC Renewal Time
Called today to see what the status was, even though I could see that on the website there is no update. The lady stated that that have 45 to 180 day to issue the renewal. I stated that to my understanding , it 45 days unless they need new information and obviously that haven't requested any new inf...

Re: LTC Renewal Time
Wow, I had no idea a renewal would take so long. I am even considering getting the Arizona gun permit to have just in case they want to drag their feet to the point of my license expiring. It's unacceptable! What is making certain renewals take a long time? They should only have 45 days to approve o...

Re: LTC Renewal Time
That's what I have been seeing here. The quickness of those renewals. Don't really understand why a renewal would take long anyway. No new information to look at since original application should be simple enough. but

Re: LTC Renewal Time
Must be nice. I’m 53 days into a renewal and fingerprints and background still under review. No requests for additional documentation. So who knows? I am gonna take a guess and say that they are probably prioritizing the ones that are about to expire . I am still almost 5 months from expiration . R...

Re: LTC Renewal Time
I submitted mine digitally . They were good enough 4 years ago. I think I would have received something by snail mail if I needed something else. But you never know really. I don't expire until until August but still I like taking care of business early . They should have 45 days for renewal and I'm...
