This. As a staff member at my institution, I've been talking with the southwest regional director a bit about how to get this done at my campus. I will say, it's a super busy time for SCC right now!

Talk to your friends and class mates. Be mature, use logic, don't get into heated emotional fights about guns. Email your president, ask how sb11 is being implemented on your campus, see if a committee has been formed, and interface with them.

You have a *right* to know how it is being implemented on your campus, and you have a right to have your voice heard on the matter. Be stern but not overbearing. We have to be more mature and logical than those out there that want to make this a fight purely on emotion and fear.

I believe it is important for all of us that work or go to school at a public university to do everything we can to help Charles keep them honest. I've been going to every town hall I can, and making my thoughts known on the issue. I've also started conversations with co-workers on the issue to try and help them see the logic of CHL holders track record as ridiculously, incredibly and extremely law abiding citizens.
