Re: Any tips for carrying in Ohio?
Great info and summary Jumping Frog, that's exactly the kind of reply I was looking for. Without living in a state or visiting it regularly it can be difficult to know how some of the laws are interpreted and enforced. Obviously I want to always follow the law but you darn near have to be a lawyer a...

Any tips for carrying in Ohio?
I'm not one for leaving Texas much but I will be visiting family in Ohio next month. I know we now have reciprocity with Ohio and after reading the Ohio CCW handbook I have a fair understanding of the differences in law. The biggest difference appears to be signage, in that any gunbuster sign on the...

Re: Specific question on open carry
Seems like they'd have to give verbal warning or post signs. Anyone carrying open will become a target and get a verbal notice fairly quick I imagine, whereas if you keep it concealed while your on the property they won't know to post signs or create anti gun policies. Do as you will, but unless the...

Re: Debate/Town Hall Meeting with Cotton & Grisham?
In regards to Grisham's statement about Charles Cotton "fighting OCT since day 1" I would like to point out that Grisham/OCT takes the position that if you do not agree with them and try to convince them to try your course of action that you are fighting them. I personally arranged for Gr...

Re: SB11 & HB910 This week....
There's lots of head shaking to go around, but, IMO the single biggest facepalm goes to Senator Huffines for failing to Amend HB 910 to be EXACTLY, word-for-word, punctuation-for-punctuation, the same as the version received from the House. Major fail. Hopefully it can still be salvaged. I've read ...

Re: HB 910 Conference Committee
Per the report, near the bottom. No equivalent provision is referring to the Hamilton and Dutton amendments from the house and senate versions. SECTIONS 1 -28. Same as House version. No equivalent provision. [The conference committee may have exceeded the limitations imposed on its jurisdiction, but...

Re: SB11 & HB910 This week....
Sen. Whitmire, in his dressing down of Sen. Huffines, mentioned that Philedelphia had different laws regarding open carry than the rest of PA. What he (naturally) forgot to mention is the higher crime rate: http://www.neighborhoodscout.com/pa/philadelphia/crime/ It's things like this that our side ...

Re: SB11 & HB910 This week....
I feel let down by our reps, and I don't even know what to think of these political LEOs who think the 4th amendment should be as conditional and selective as the 2nd has been made. If the Bill of Rights were proposed today, it wouldn't pass . Democrats and Republicans would vote against. So embarr...

Re: SB11 & HB910 This week....
Are y'all as mad as I am over this? I mean, the supposed 2A loving majority controlled house and senate couldn't get this done. I will refrain from saying more for a bit so as not to get booted by Charles. My time, money, and voting will be applied differently from here on out though. Am I wrong fo...
