I guess it depends on the gun they are talking about. Of course they don't know that, especially when they're usually talking about the dreaded AR which stands for Assault Rifle.
(I know that's not what it means!) Everyone with half a brain knows it stands for Army Rifle. They also don't know the difference between Automatic and semi-automatic. Maybe we should ask them about single and double action. That would really confuse them.When guns learn how to pull triggers then we should start to worry about gun control.
