Re: New Suppressor Law = No Good
I contacted a suppressor manufacturer. They said the new Texas law changes nothing because FFL's and SOT's still have to follow federal law. So, I suppose you could legally make your own suppressor, but you're not going to get around the ATF form or the $200 by going to the store and buying a suppr...

Re: A travel question
Woo this topic is like Glock VS 1911’s hehe. Just kidding. Your plan sounds good. You obviously have to stop to get fuel. Buccees sounds like a good place to stop. It’s well lit and mainly big enough for your rig to pull in and out of. I would however stay away from the rest stops like others have ...

Re: A travel question
As a man, I barely like using rest stops myself. I think you got a good plan. If you can keep all your stops to Bucees, I think that would be good. They are clean and easy to get in and out of with a camper. I would bring enough fresh water (maybe 1/4 tank) just to use the toilet in case you do stop...

Re: ATF Released New Proposed Pistol Brace Rules
Having said that, I think this action was brought on by people deliberately trying to get around the law on SBRs by claiming it is a pistol. This ruling is, IMO, trying to stop that and still allow real AR pistols with braces. The ATF is trying to appease the leftists while still allowing the legal...

Re: ATF Released New Proposed Pistol Brace Rules
I need help please. I am glad, and want to submit comments opposing the Proposed Legislation on Pistol Braces. Having said that, I know that I am not knowledgeable enough to write a succinct and effective comment. Any help or examples would be most appreciated. Thanks, gamboolman..... Here is the l...

Re: ATF Released New Proposed Pistol Brace Rules
Just carrying on the traditions of Trump. I mean who cares. People told me bumpstocks were stupid and we shouldn’t whine about the sacrifice to appease lefties. So let’s just say pistol braces are stupid and not worthy of fighting for these either. Must sacrifice to make the lefties happy. Yep. We ...

Fake news. The FBI doesn't care about classified information. Only interested in shooting dogs and citizens in no knock raids.

Re: HB 1927 on the Senate floor now
Sounds like Texan's are about to get their constitutional rights back. When, in one piece of legislation, 29 million people, 9% of the population of the country gets their rights restored it WILL be time to celebrate! :thewave We'll get our rights back when there are no off limits areas, no backgro...
