Re: UPS Refusing Shipments from Brownell's and Ghost Guns

Solving Crimes? Just a dumb / non-LEO question. I've read that the brass database has not solved a single shooting. Even in Hawaii. Seems like a waste of resources to collect the information. How many shootings are solved by tracing the guns serial number? I would not think many guns are left at th...

Re: debit card / credit card

Used either of those cards at a gas pump. I had that happen so often after getting gas that I use a certain card just for gas. That solved my issue. I have a card with a $1,000 limit just for this purpose. I had debit card info skimmed and had thousands gone before the bank locked the card. Like dr...

Re: Does Anyone Know Of A Security Company DFW

Heartland Patrol and Investigations has a contract with the city for the Vickery Park area of town. East side of 75 behind where the Whole Foods little shopping area is. So they have some actual official connection with the PD.

Re: Less lethal Options

Do you carry any Les lethal options? I have to use a walking cane and it is solid wood built out of one piece of heavy wood. I also carry SABRE Pepper Gel. I carry a Benchmade OTF knife. After all of that then the last thing I want to do is draw and have to use my sidearm. I was wondering what you ...

Re: How Many Reloads Should A Private Citizen Carry?

The most common malfunctions with a semi-auto pistol can be fixed by swapping mags. I don't carry backup for the extra ammo, but for the first mag messing up. It just has the extra benefit of providing more ammo should I end up in some a problem arises situation (beyond the normal bad day of having ...

Re: NRA convention in Houston this weekend says Lina Hildalgo, Harris County Judge

What are the carry rules at the NRAAM? There is also a concern about the car being vandalized. When they had it in Dallas you were good to go, except for the Trump speech. On the vandalization I don't know. I don't recall anything happening elsewhere, but I took Dart when I went because it was easi...

Re: TX: Humble woman charged with murder after claiming self defense after a homeless woman aggressively approached

I think OC is a great self defense tool in many situations. Just keep in mind that when you spray a BG and he steps back or falls to the ground with his hands over his eyes, it's OVER. If you kick or strike him then, you'll be charged with assault, or worse. Fox Labs 5.3 Cone Mist is the strongest ...

Republicans have controlled house, senate, and white house before. How many pro-gun laws have you seen passed at the federal level? They only ever get put forward when the rinos know they won't have to do anything with them.

They keep telling me not to withdraw the paper app and refile electronically, but I'm starting to feel like the fool here.
The ATF is saying if you withdraw and e-file you catch a 1 year delay. So up to you if you want to risk it.

Re: Stop the Bleed is a must for a anyone

I have some medical training from a few places. Nothing like an actual paramedic, but how to put tourniquets on, chest seals, etc. I keep tourniquet, chest seals, and pressure bandage in my range bag. I have a kit I wear on my ankle. I keep a trauma bag in my car along with a boo boo kit. My rifle a...

This makes no sense. The vehicle performed as designed. We aren't talking about brakes that the driver pressed and didn't engage (and proper maintenance was done). Car maker shouldn't even be on the lawsuit at all. Personally think lawyers like that need to be disbarred.

I wouldn't mind having a S&W 627 v-comp, don't know it's something I would carry though. Carry I'd be looking at one of the hammerless ones, S&W 340PD maybe.

I do 25 yards myself. At closer distances it's good enough for any shooting you would do. Much less height over the bore than a rifle, so it doesn't really mess with anything.

Re: Triple shooting over masks at Georgia grocery store leaves cashier dead, deputy and man injured

My thing is this, and I have said so from the beginning. Is the juice worth the squeeze, is the risk worth the reward? We've had multiple assaults and murders around the globe over confronting people not wearing a mask. It isn't like confronting someone is going to change their mind, and it opens yo...
