Big problem here is people "explaining" things they have no direct knowledge of in the first place. Instead of taking someone at their word on a legal issue you should look it up yourself. The language in the law is very clear on this issue. Nothing in there about renters or squatters or whatever. Govt owned is all that matters. As far as the school activity goes, the language does suck but the intent was school events like games and such. As others have stated the schools can show up anywhere without you knowing.

I believe the consensus here is that you arent part of the activity being conducted so you're not held accountable for it anymore than being at McDonald's or a movie
