A friend at worked noticed that I have a NSA on my CHL. He has older CHL and has SA. I used my Simi Auto when qualified. I though that law was changed anyway. Should I worry about the NSA and call DPS?

At this time I have a Glock 17 for home defense and a Glock 19 for my carry. Was asked today what I wanted to get for birthday this year. I was thinking of a HK P30SK for a second carry. Want to stick with 9mm. Any advice is appreciated.

I had a follow up call this afternoon with a TDPS rep, who confirmed that their email receipt team did receive my CHL course certificate, but for some reason (which she could not explain) that doc had not made it down to the licensing team, so my background check was never initiated! Just got email addressing the CHL-100. They do have it and requested expedite the process. Very fast response to issue.

After waiting for just over six weeks I decided to call. Very pleasent operator informed me they do not have my CHL-100 which was submitted online in pdf format. Informed that I did receive an email confirmation. They are looking into matter.
