Re: One eye two eyes aiming
this is how i taught my daughter to shoot with both eyes open: hold your strong hand out, arm extended, thumb up. focus on the thumb nail. with both eyes open, move the arm to target positions (the tv, a lamp, etc.) always keep your focus on the thumb and both eyes open. if you see the thumb double,...

Re: Road Trip Advice
Just as you come into the outskirts of Giddings on 290 there is a place on the right called Tejas trading post. Nice guy and usually a good selection for a small town store. It's easy to miss if you are not looking for it.

Re: Glock Haters?
it's the old ford or chevy thing.
at competitions there is a lot of good natured ribbing between shooters about different guns. but that is what it is, just good natured ribbing.
shoot and carry what you enjoy and don't worry about the rest of us soreheads.

Re: inheriting guns from out of state
However, a direct route between Montana and Texas is not going to pass through any such state. - Jim :iagree: Just don't take my wife as a navigator and you should be good to go! "rlol" at least kevin didn't say "take my wife, please!" when my wife navigates, she has the directi...

ditto what scottmurray said. go to the kr training sight (link) and print the targets in the training section. these are sized for practicing at five yards with the target to simulate 15, 25 and 50 yards. they are ipsc targets but are good practice. http://www.krtraining.com/IPSC/IPSC.html" onc...

Re: Question: .40 = .45?
i'm linking a forum discussion i found on this forum a couple of years ago. it is a long discussion by a medical examiner in a big city. he discusses what he's seen over a number of years. what it comes down to is: seen one shot from a 22 kill and many from a 45 not kill but in the end he says from ...
