At the Wallyworld in S. Texas I used to go to, if I wanted Federal-brand 12 gauge slugs I could pick them off a shelf and carry them around the store, but the Remington-branded 12 gauge slugs were behind the counter, and they insisted on escorting me out of the store the one time I bought the remington stuff.
