Sounds like my experience a couple years back when I shot for my CHL. Here I am shooting a .40 with my grouping all just absolutely dead on (probably never shot that well before or since for that matter). And when the instructor went to score it he pointed out that I had one lone hole low and to the right in the 7 ring. After looking at it it was clear that the guy next to me, shooting a 9mm had made the hole. I was about to say something when I realized that either way I passed, so what does it matter?fenster wrote:yep. 249.
I'm not gonna say that the dude next to me, with the high-dollar 1911 shot my target. but I will say that hole at the 7-ring looks punched by a flat-nose bullet, unlike the other holes from my round-nose ammo.
