Re: Speaking of skeet...

If you want to shoot on 8/26, there is an event at Alpine benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters that is fun. I volunteered at the event last year and it was a lot of fun. I can't go this year since my son will be marching in the Fish Corp of Cadets review that day at A&M. It is a little expensive,...

Blueing a barrel

Dad dropped off his old shotgun. It's a Western Auto revelation 12 gauge bolt action gun. Limited research shows it as a Mossberg 195. The stock is in good condition, but there is some surface rust on the barrel. The rest is OK, just needs a good cleaning. It isn't worth much monetarily, but I would...

Re: Guys help me out

I have the original LCP that gets carried often in my front pocket with a leather pocket holster. I love it for carry, but it isn't the most fun to shoot. It depends when and where I'm going as to whether I've got the LCP or something bigger. I don't know that it would be great to shoot inside of th...

Re: AR Front sight question

I was able to get in touch with ATI today and they said a rail height front sight 'should' have enough adjustment to compensate for the difference with this block. They were willing to sell me one for $70 for the set. I have a metal set by UTG ordered through Amazon and will see what happens... Than...

Re: AR Front sight question

I wasn't looking to replace the block or add a rail yet. It looks like it lines up, but is just a hair shorter. Will there be enough adjustment on a rail pair to handle the 16th of an inch difference?

I added a couple pics to show what I think I'm talking about.

AR Front sight question

I picked up my first AR for Christmas... It is a very inexpensive ATI OMNI model. When I was looking, I was somewhat aware of issues getting front blocks with rails and finding sights since this didn't have any. I'll eventually put on some mid grade optics, but would like to put sights on first. Thi...

Re: Movie Tavern a No Go now also

I emailed the Colleyville location of Studio Movie Grill and received the following... Thank you for your email. Studio Movie Grill’s policy is that we follow all state and federal laws pertaining to weapons. With Texas being a state that allows concealed carry we follow those laws and we do not hav...

Re: Movie Tavern a No Go now also

Not sure where you're located, but if anyone lives near Flower Mound, the Moviehouse & Eatery is 30.07 posted, but supports concealed carry. Their food is much better than Movie Tavern, and the seats are super comfy. Service there is top notch as well. I cannot speak for the other Moviehouse &a...

Movie Tavern a No Go now also

My favorite place to go see a movie just posted... I did leave them a note and got a response. Mine: I just saw that you are now posting 30.07 AND 30.06 signs on your Texas locations to forbid firearms. While I understand the 30.07 open carry signs to prevent distraction, the 30.06 will prevent me a...

Re: Which pistol for pocket carry?

I love my G19, but lately the little Ruger LCP in a leather pocket holster has been with me more often...

Grabagun.com had them for just over $200 before Christmas.
