Wonder why the months-long delay? Did the prosecutor make a recommendation on punishment as part of the plea or was it a "no-rec" deal? Would not think it would take that long to get a pre-sentence investigation for the Judge.

Serving sentences consecutively will always get a defendant's attention.

Reminds me of the Bill Cosby trial, except here the guilt-phase of the trial was waived...Hmmmmm.

I read law enforcement believes the pickup crossed the center-line and caused a head-on collision. Doubt the poor van driver could have taken any evasive action. However, always be careful when driving folks. :(
