The website has finally changed for me so I guess Ill see something in a week or so. My stuff was laying in limbo for a while when I called to check on it.
Oh do they read LTC now?
BTW, carrying has been an adventure to say the least. Will compare notes with you once you get yours since I am a week your senior! (I am predicting you will get yours on Monday!)

Re: Let the waiting begin.
Working today and got bored so I thought I would go ahead and check to see yet once again if my status had changed and it did!
I just noticed something, that makes me wonder or think it could have changed sooner than today. See I got in the habit of looking for the "sufficient time" phrase. When I would read that I knew (or at lease I thought I knew) that my status hadn't changed and I would immediately exit the website.
Well today for some reason I read a little further and noticed the options (now available) to change address, report a license, etc.
Anyway, happy with the good news and now it is between me and U.S. Postal Service!

Re: Let the waiting begin.
The agony of waiting was too much. After yet another disappointing visit to my mailbox I decided to call DPS. With no actual hold time other then listening to various options I was connected to a nice lady. I asked her as politely as I could; "that I would just like to check on my status of my CHL and to make sure that all of my documents were received" She asked me for my TXDL# which I provided and then told me that my CHL was sent to printing today (then corrected herself) and said yesterday! She went on to say that I should have it in 7-10 days. I thanked her and ended the call.
For those (I have seen a couple) with a similar timeline here is mine once again.
08/17/2015: Completed online application
08/29/2015: Completed CHL class
08/29/2015: Fingerprints done
08/29/2015: Submitted CHL-100, DD-214, and checklist online
09/01/2015: Received confirmation email that documents received
09/24/2015: DPS website shows status the same as from day one
09/24/2015: DPS representative says CHL to printing yesterday
Although there is still some waiting that remains, I am very glad that the wondering is now over.
Thank you all for being here!

Re: Let the waiting begin.
Am waiting as well. My countdown began once I completed all of the requirements and received the confirmation email from DPS that they received my documents on 09/02/2015.
From the reading I have done in this forum is appears that the current time frame is right around 2-3 weeks for uncomplicated submissions. I hope that remains true which would put me close to being next!
