I'm in the area and interested but Cabela's is offering that exact model for brand new at the same price. http://www.cabelas.com/product/TRIJICON-RMR-ADJUSTABLE-LED-SIGHT/2047219.uts?productVariantId=4195676&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=04181433&rid=20&gclid=...

Re: Watched Hacksaw Ridge last night
It is a great movie, but I loathe how much Hollywood changed the facts. His exploits on his MOH citation are even more heroic than what the movie portrays: DOSS, DESMOND T. Rank and organization: Private First Class, U.S. Army, Medical Detachment, 307th Infantry, 77th Infantry Division. Place and da...

Re: ABC 13 - Man opens fire across four lanes of traffic
The fact that he wasn't charged makes me think there's more to this story than is being reported. There may have been four lanes of traffic (2 in each direction), but were there any cars going by at the time of the shooting? Something doesn't smell right. Chas. Agreed. Rather poor reporting to stat...

Re: ABC 13 - Man opens fire across four lanes of traffic
Poor choices were definitely made in this situation. Unless other circumstances come out showing he needed to use his weapon, I think this guy should be charged. At the very least his LTC should be revoked.

Re: KHOU - Failed robbery attempt in McDonald's drive-thru
Help me out here. If it is going before a grand jury does that mean he was charged by the DA? I assume it's just to see if there is enough to charge him, but I could be wrong. Either way, if enough witnesses corraborate his story he shouldn't even have to worry about this case going before a grand ...

Understood. I guess my real question is should this be the norm in these situations?SC1903A3 wrote:The grand jury referral is normal. He will be no billed and life will go on.

Re: The Real Texas Gunshow Bell County Expo Center April 23-24
I am not sure why you would even go. This gun show has been having fewer and fewer vendors every time I go. Ammo is more expensive than Academy or even Gander Mountain, Too many trinket and bead vendors and most gun prices are above those on-line or at many retail establishments. Best reason to go ...

Do these gun show organizers fail to understand who their clientele is? Never ceases to amaze me.

Re: The Real Texas Gunshow Bell County Expo Center April 23-24
To follow up on what I wrote above...eventually someone is going to have to be the proverbial "test case". Let's take the Bell County Expo center as an example. - I buy a ticket and I walk up with my CC handgun, concealed & loaded, say in my waistband at 6 o'clock. - Do they wand peop...

Re: Out of State Travel
Just left Campbell last month after being stationed there for 4 years. Would of offered to hold em. Honestly I recommend staying at an off post hotel. The on base one is kind of shoddy. There are some decent hotels really close by on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Friendly advice...since you will be driving t...

Re: Active shooter at Lackland AFB
Praying everyone makes it through this. This is why service members need to be allowed to carry on post. As I get ready to sign in at my new duty station at Fort Hood this month, it makes me sick that I have to forfeit my right to defend myself every time I drive to and from work.
