Is there any place that lists friendly businesses? I know if they're not posted its ok but how about business that openly support carrying? Since being here I have seen one restaurant that has a sign welcoming concealed carry. I would like to be able to support them also.

Skip the laser. Get the fundamentals down then practice, practice, practice. Remember sight alignment, sight picture and trigger control.

Going to the range by yourself may be intimidating the first couple of times but you'll get more comfortable that more you go.

I would reduce the velocity to below 1500fps as they recommend. May be pushing them too fast, they are not jacketed only plated.
