How is race relevant to the thread? You know as well as I do that the implication is that because they were black, it was somehow worse. To me that is shameful and racist.When someone tells a story, it's nice to paint a picture of what's going on. You can easily just ask, "what difference does their ages make?" or "What difference does their height make?" I think it's lame if someone worries about political correctness so much that they say, "Two human beings...", that is, unless you are trying to start an argument. I'm sure the original poster didn't mean anything negative about the statement, and i'm sure most people reading didn't care until you brought it up, and attempted to derail the thread.
