Have you called the DPS Regulatory Services Division? If there's nothing in your background to complicate the process then the background check will only take a day or two. I called last Monday and they flagged my file as ready to process, they ran the background check and I had my LTC on Saturday....

Well I'm Patiently Waiting as well.. Application Filed - 9/26 Finger Prints Filed - 10/1 CHL Class taken - 10/3 CHL 100 and DD214 (Final Paperwork) submitted - 10/4 Email Notification received - 10/5 I'm hoping to receive some update but nothing as of the sort...
