As far as the lifestyle changes go, I've had the same experiences that most others have. The biggest thing for me is just deciding whether or not to drink, because I won't carry even if I've only had one beer. So it's either leave it at home or secure it in the truck (I've got a little gun safe mounted in there).

As far as concealing when bowling, etc. I definitely agree that carrying a smaller gun makes it much easier to do. My daily carry is a S&W340. (I love that gun) It's very easy to hide with virtually no effort.
