Re: Reloading While Shooting Question
Interesting. I'm using the "sling-shot" method but I kind of stumbled into it. When I first started shooting handguns, I used the shooting thumb on the slide release. This is how I was shown. When my wife got her Sig P938, the slide release was too hard to work so one of the range instruct...

Re: GUN BROKER
I just tried to bid on a gun there but apparently there is a $1.00 fee to register before you can bid on anything. It's only a buck, but I'm not sure I like the idea of giving the auction site my CC info. Seems odd to be charging bidders as opposed to sellers. I didn't pay anything to register or b...

Re: FFL Transfer
I'm certainly no expert but the process is that the seller needs to see the Federal Firearms License (FFL) which also includes a shipping address. On-line sellers like Buds Gun Shop and Gun Broker have a list of FFLs they have on file. If the FFL you want to use is on the list, you normally do not h...

Re: Are Grill Covers Really Needed?
Your grill would have been exposed to all the weather that destroyed your cover. Grill covers are a lot cheaper to replace than grills.

It is possible someone recharged that refrigerator with an illegal refrigerant like isobutane (which has been used legally in Europe). Here is an article about dangers from illegal AC refrigerant (R22a) but that is not the refrigerant used in small appliances. EPA Issues Warning on Flammable A/C Ref...

Did you notice this statement?

Re: What is Reliable Enough?
We're still trying to work out the issues. Sig will take the gun back for servicing but they clearly think the problem is the ammo. We had a couple more people look at the gun. The FTEs seem to occur after the gun is warmed up by running several magazines in a row. Two "experts" have sugge...

Re: Blazer ammo Fail???
Interesting comments on the quality of Blazer Brass. I'm waiting on a shipment so I can try it in a Sig P938 that is having Failure to Extract (FTE) issues. Sig blamed the FTEs on Magtech ammo and specifically mentioned Blazer Brass as reliable.
