Re: Handgun Ownership by a Person Under 21yrs.
I have a question for the members that are more familiar with Texas Handgun Laws. My 18 year-old son states that while he is unable to purchase a handgun or purchase ammunition for a handgun, he can legally own a handgun at the age of 18 years. He wants to build a handgun from an 80% polymer Glock ...

Re: Traveling to Vermont
n the past, once we got to the proximity of the fascist NY State, its take the gun out of holster, empty it, put it into a lockbox separate from ammo/mags time... Once you get to Vermont, keep the lock box handy for when you approach school zones... "rlol" ScottDLS, That applies to any st...

Re: Traveling to Vermont
Remember, the Feds would love to up their arrest rate and turn legal firearm owners into felons. Maybe President Trump will do something about the BATF. Like appoint a new director with some smarts. I am a law abiding person, but the BATF really scares the crap out of me, even if I have done nothing...

Re: Traveling to Vermont
There needs to be a gun friendly corridor to pass through NY state. There is. It's called "chartered airplane". :biggrinjester: Justsomeold, You can fly commercial if you lock your firearm in the suitcase unloaded, and declare it. However, if you have a layover, do not, repeat, do not pic...

Re: Recommendations for Temple / Belton area?
Thanks. I'm sure Ft. Hood has ranges, but wonder if they would be open to civilian use. Killeen isn't too far, though, so that's an option. Guess I could start with the local gun shops and ask what they know of or recommend. Legionnaire, Fort hood is open to civilians, but you have to register your...

SheJack is so far out there The Onion won't even touch her. Sheila Jackson Lee has got to be the most prolific walking political gaff reel of all time. And it certainly doesn't help that her seemingly sole mission in life is to get herself on television. Congressional staffers actually ran a pool f...

Re: Anyone been to Hotwells Shooting Range in Cypress?
I have been to hot wells a couple of times. The good. the prices for the ranges are reasonable if your only taking a few guns and lots of people. they provide a spotter scope to all the rifle stations. you can shoot shotguns there. you can bring and shoot all types of ammo. not sure on the shotgun ...

Re: Anyone been to Hotwells Shooting Range in Cypress?
Hey Guys, Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Cheryl, my Mom, Dallas and I run Hot Wells, and I thought I would take a few moments to answer questions and explain a few things. We sell ear protection for a $1.00 a pair, safety glasses for $3.00 to $5.00. Our pistol ammo prices (when we ...
