Re: Expired license

I seem to have seen somewhere that the expired license must be returned to DPS, does anyone know of this requirement?

Expired license

I am sure it has been answered before, but I do not find it.
When you get your renewal, what are you supposed to do with the license that has expired?
Thank you.

Re: The 20 Most Homicidal Countries In The World

Hank, if you are asking why Zimbabwe is not on the murder list, likely it is because no one there can afford ammo or a machete, very few can even afford a paring knife. Another wonderful example of majority rule democracy, from Rhodesia, a major exporter of food and other merchandise to a country wh...

Re: Felony to Steal an Aluminum Can — or a Penny — in Texas

As an old electrician I recall the electrical contractor's assn. and the power companies getting a law passed in the late 60's-early 70's that made theft of copper a felony, so this is far from new.

Re: The Real Gun Show promoter

Guess what, trying to e mail them sent me to a site with show dates, trying to close out the site revealed that it had locked up my computer and to get rid of the trash, I had to shut down and restart.
So, they are not just a bunch of crooks but they even mess with computers.
Oh,me!

Re: The Real Gun Show promoter

Does anyone have a good email address for the real gun show co?
It seems they are hiding it, I suppose so nasty people like me cannot send them nasty e mails calling them a bunch of criminals and second amendment violators.

The Real Gun Show promoter

I went to a small gun show at Cleveland, yesterday. It was held in a building owned by the city, the promoter had a 30.0.6 sign in the front, I told a functionary the sign was not lawful as the building was city owned, she said she would tell the promoter. I asked the cop there if he knew the sign w...

Re: Cousin Vicky

I started with a "PPP", [P3AT, aka puny plastic popgun], I could not hit the side of a barn, when I was in the barn, found a S&W airweight +P, love at first sight. You just need to find what you , personally like. I have been trying to get my sister to get licensed, she works in Harris...

Re: Intruder shot in Kaufman County

I really have a problem with some of you, what makes you think the shooter laughed about shooting someone because he is a nut case? Is it not more likely he was actually having an hysteric reaction to having shot someone? I have said things out of the immediate response I would not have said if I ha...

Re: Take this test

I, too, felt 30 should be "C", but I realize it must be wrong as it is the most sensible answer, nothing the government would ever do.
For 33, simple math, if income and outgo are equal , there is no debt.
WhatdoIknow, I bought stocks in '99 and sold them in '08, so I am not very bright.

Re: How they view the "knife threat" in Britain

The really pitiful part is in the mid 1800s, the London city council , cheap varmits that they were, refused to buy guns for police, explaining that if a constable needed a gun, he could just borrow one from a bystander.

Re: Another n00b in Austin, TX

I tried the De Santis and Uncle Mike's pocket holsters for my PPP, aka P3-AT Kel-Tec, did not like either, then I heard about Mikl's holsters from LA, I ordered one and it was much more comfortable and concealable, so when I got my airweight I got another Mikl's for it, very nice and the price is go...
