I mailed in the little card to DPS and received my application package in the mail before attending the class (class on June 9th). I knew nothing about the PIN until I logged into the CHL site to track my application status.
If you don't have your PIN, email the below following information to:
chl@txdps.state.tx.us
Texas concealed handgun license number
Driver license number
Full name
Date of Birth
It only took about an hour to get a repsonse back with my PIN number. And I have been checking my status, oh, about 3 or 4 times a day!!
I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas to get here!!!
