I agree with reading the policy very closely. IMO no responsible agent is going to sign any such statement. Even if they did it is the insurance policy that is the legal document that defines the coverage. If I worked on commission and collected a fee for every person I signed up, or got a free contract for myself, I might have a different opinion.
