I have read about "stupid crooks" who wrote a hold-up note on the back of their own deposit slip. :lol:

Banks have always set their own rules. It is very frustrating because, after all, it's your money. :mad5

I have been able to write myself a check and cash it at every bank where I have had an account.

You might consider a credit union. They pay better interest and are friendlier for the most part. The are insured the same as banks.

Before you set up an account at another bank you are going to have to get a new DL.
