That's the first green laser I've seen (although I've heard of them before). Any advantage to a green laser over red?AdamJ1555 wrote:G19 with a Veridian CL5 Green Laser
Sorry, but I couldn't resist. I am not sure the advantage, but they are more technologically advanced. Otherwise they would have been out before the red ones.

It looks the the RottenApple doesn't fall far from the tree.RottenApple wrote:While I don't have my CHL yet, this will be my daily carry when I do. It's a Sig P220 .45 ACP. This was a birthday gift from my Pop (PawPaw in the forums). I've only had it a few weeks and have already put 300 rounds through it. Thanks, Pop!

So you're her RIL [Red-Neck-InLaw]?srothstein wrote:I think that is actually a 3rd Gen Glock that SAPD traded in. Note the straight lines in the slide for pulling the slide back.
SAPD bought a batch of the first Gen Glocks back in 91. They traded them in back around 2004 or so. I found mine at Dury's (serial number was my old badge number), bought it, and gave it to my son as a wedding present (and just because of that, his wife called me a redneck for some reason). I believe that they recently traded their 3rd Gen's in also and bought the newest version.

Nice gun. Congratulation, I hope you enjoy it. I could say I'm jealous, but I've got two of my own.Divided Attention wrote:I am VERY lucky! Doc did a great job with this snubbie and hubbie knows this is better than jewelry for me for Valentines Day... Of course on the way home he casually mentions he is looking at AR15s, LOL! But that will be fun for me too! - I'm not "typical" when it comes to "girl stuff" - my Barbies drove Tonka trucks! Is that one of porcelain guns made in Switzerland that costs more than three months salary?ChattyKat wrote:Tee hee just practicing carrying this Wally World 5-Dollar Special (a gift from my husband) until I get my plastic. Recently Bobcat posted a great suggestion to carry a brightly-colored toy gun while awaiting my CHL, and as he said, the embarrassment of having someone notice it keeps me serious about concealing it!

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
The .38 Special is a good caliber and can be the equal of a 9 mm. I would wager that the .38 snubbies resulted in getting a lot of BGs off the streets. It certainly is much better than an .32 Special.hangfour wrote:I carry the 9mm Beretta when ever I can. I just feel better with more accuracy and higher capacity but sometimes circumstances dictate the 32 special. Better to have something than nothing. bob
