Plus it is legal to carry in schools in California if you can get a permit (although I suspect most/all colleges have a policy prohibiting it).

I think that's an excellent idea.

Students will get a much better education from rational, intelligent substitute instructors than immature dimwits. One of my best classes was taught by a grad student.
