Those require connectivity as well...unless they are using a POTS line, they are offline too!

I dunno. A couple of weeks ago I went to a gas station, but was told the satellite was down so I couldn't use my debit card. I went to the ATM in the store, got some cash and paid for my gas. I guess it depends.
