IMO, this is inexcusable to put a person's life in danger when he hasn't been convicted of any crime.

I think that focusing on the film and the producer is just a way to distract the public and try to shift the focus away from the terrorists. It would be much easier for the US government to try to blame and punish one person than to confront the attackers and make them pay for their actions.

I heard this on the radio on the way home from work. They said they obtained the information from a newsource in Libya, but it was not confirmed. How could anyone who claims to adhere to any religion or sense of morality not be apalled and disgusted?

The latest news is that the U.S. suspects the attack in Libya may have been planned.
