No way in heck would minimum wage even be enough to pay the rent on a small apartment and all the other expenses of having a family. I held minimum wage jobs when I was in high school and college and saw the lifestyles and hardships of many of my co-workers who worked minimum wage jobs to support themselves and their families. Working these jobs provided me with the best incentive to improve my future by continuing my education so that I could obtain more skills, a better job and make better wages.
