They did answer my email, they never give permission. Also said they had no way to stop it since our streets are open to the public. Her suggestion was not to purchase anything from them.
On a side note I did stop a guy from breaking into a neighbors house some years ago, did not have my firearm with me so I retreated to my house to give a good description to the sheriff department (they took about one hour to respond). That was the last time I went out without my firearm.
Did you tell them about the No Solicitation Ordinance?
They can also send out a bulletin in the mail and talk about it at the HOA meeting.
My HOA has a security service that routinely patrols the area.
If they spot solicitors they will report them.

Back when we lived in League City one late afternoon I was out in my garage with the double door rolled up working on bore sighting in an AR I had just completed. I was OCing my Kimber at the time as was usually the case when at home.

My Super Duty and Mom's car was parked in the driveway so you could not really see me except for my upper body as I moved around.

Two solicitors, a man and woman came walking up from around the front of the house. I guess they rang the bell but no one answered. Mrs. Anygun was at work. They came up between the vehicles as I raised my voice and told them that whatever they were peddling I didn't want any and to leave. Just then the man saw me standing with my gun side towards him, my hand on the AR. They were both standing there looking at me. I told them that it was not often I had to repeat myself. They left in a hurry.

Did I mention solicitors annoy me?
It's lucky for them they were in your driveway and not on your lawn.

Not wanting to start a fight, but he Thin mints are way better... just sayin.
Nobody's perfect. You probably like milk chocolate over dark chocolate too.
That's treasonous, slander and libel! :rules:

Buncha junkies! Yesterday, I stepped out of a Walgreen's and there was a little girl there with her mom, and her cookie boxes set up on a table right there outside the door. The girl got out one word... "Sir...?" I held out my hand, palm outward, and said "NO!" .......and then I turned to her mom and laughed, apologized, and said that I am down just shy of 90 lbs since last March, and I can't eat just one cookie anymore than you can eat just one potato chip, and the LAST thing I needed was to open a box of those. She and the girl smiled and laughed, and wished me good luck on my continued weight loss.
I'm on a 12 step program - Twelve steps to the freezer to get milk and cookies.

It's not gated but there is a sign before you enter the neighborhood. When he said he had permission I didn't believe him.
:iagree: I suggest using the same approach as mrvmax. Make sure you follow up with the phone call to the local police.
