I agree that they are close, but to me, there is just enough difference that the 42 is a more comfortable in my pocket. However, the 43's larger size does fit my hand better.
I was thinking more about the benefit of 9mm vs .380. Both are too small to fit my hand comfortably (I have large hands). The G43 with the extended mag isn't too bad, but then again using the extended mag kind of defeats the purpose of having a small pocket carry pistol....

Depends on the size of my pockets that day and whether I am carrying a primary, but I alternate between my Glock 43, Kahr PM9, Glock 42, Kel-Tec P3AT, and S&W J frame. The G43 has become my favorite, but it is also the largest.
