Thanks. You saved me a trip and a frustrating argument. Their coupon does not say anything about excluding "sale" items. And I'm guessing most everything in the store will be on some type of "sale" since their having a big grand opening weekend.Teamless wrote:The coupons aren't good on sale items (I overheard a customer and sales persons interaction)Soccerdad1995 wrote:I got a mailer about a "grand opening" this weekend for the new Houston stores. The only really good deal I could find in it was a 325 pack of .22 LR for $19.98. The same mailer also included a $10 off coupon if you spent more than $25, so if you buy two boxes, and use the coupon you would get 650 rounds for $30, or 4.6 cents per round, plus tax. Not necessarily worth a special trip, but enough to get me to stop in if I happen to be going by one of their locations this weekend.
Also, I don't see $20 for 325 as a good deal, when Academy (when in stock) sells 525's for about $20-22
And I agree that $20 for 325 isn't a great deal. What I said was that $15 for 325 (4.6 cpr) would have been a great deal, by today's standards. That's a moot point given how they are limiting the coupon use.
