IDPA makes the post understandable without it, I was completely baffled.

Hey, what can I say, I'm old and slow...physically too.

I'm just assuming it's IDPA. There are other organizations, but I'm not sure if any of them has a division called BUG (in IDPA that stands for Back Up Gun).

I don't think the Glock 26 is within the size parameters for the IDPA BUG division even in it's stock form. I'd be delighted to be proven wrong on this.

Abraham - Given that this post is in the competitive shooting forum, I'm assuming he is asking about legality for the BUG division of IDPA.
