Re: So this just happened: Facebook banning private gun sales
I am not on the facebook, nor ever will be. Their move, however, is very typical of the "free speech, we tolerate others, except for speech and others we don't like" culture... I think they call them folk, "democrats."

Sounds like the anti-gun politicians of Austin are taking there anti-gun word to the streets. We'll see, but I bet this forum is more about telling business to get those signs up more than anything else.

Chump is not a conservative...he's just another New York bigmouth whose ego is even bigger than his fortune. So he takes his marbles and goes home cuz he can't stand up to a debate with a real conservative like Ted Cruz... "rlol" "rlol" If he can't stand up to Megyn Kelly at Fox...

John Adams has been attributed with the quote "A nation of laws, and not of men." However in the last 50 years I must add on - except that some men are above the law. That is the sad part, even when reading section 46 of the penal code, is that the law makers exempt themselves routinely fr...

Re: I Need a New EDC
Have you ruled out a pocket DAO revolver? I'd recommend a ruger LCR in 357 or even 9mm. It solves the weight issue as well as the condition 1 issue. They make pocket sleeves/holsters if you don't want to just have it loose in you pocket. Another option is to care a messenger bag (or man purse). In t...

It is good to know that at least a few remaining honorable leaders and politicians haven't abandoned our allies.
obama has been an absolute disgrace to the nation and to our allies.

Re: Who has been approached at a gas station with someone begging for money?
A very similar thing happened to me in Austin. If you don't know it, Austin is the California of Texas... Among the many amenities of Austin we offer a bum on every corner... Literally every corner. And such attractions as Hobo Hamlet and Vagrant Village, campsites under highway underpasses. Making ...

Re: large knives and batons?
It's just what 46.15 implies, you can carry anything almost. That includes tomahawk, spear, sword, mace, etc etc. A gun is more lethal than any of those but maybe not as messy though. Ever see anyone square off to a guy carrying a katana? 46.02 is does seem to cover all times under illegal kn...

New York, Ct now Georgia has announced a bill that would make a lot assault weapons and some ammo illegal. CA is also pretty messed up, and you just know there will be more states that libs control will also try it. I am pretty new to Texas maybe they already tried it here. http://atlantaprogressiv...

My guess as an army guy is that These boats certainly have some high tech and crypto devices onboard. Did we get the boats back or are they part of the deal? Just disgraceful. With any luck we'll have a republican in the White House next year and all of this shananagans will change real fast. Kind o...

Read it again. 46-02. a-1 (1) specifically states 'handgun'. That leaves all the illegal knife and club as illegal.Breny414 wrote:My understanding is that 46.02 does not apply to an LTC that is actively carrying.
