Dude, I think you might be right. I went to see
the Transformers on the first day it opened (evening show on 2 July), and prior to the film beginning, the theater manager
came into the auditorium with a cop and made an anti-piracy announcement...the cop even had
night-vision goggles with him to monitor moviegoers for camcorder use during the film!!!
That whole deal gave me the creeps
in an Orwellian kind of way....
