Definitely starting to pick up the pace. My wife was all in on April 20. Receipt plastic in the mail today (5/27/16). Just about five weeks. I waited almost 12 just five short months ago.

Welcome aboard sir. My confirmation date was January 21 too, although I had had everything submitted on January 15. My website status just changed yesterday and I am awaiting plastic within the next couple days. I would expect that you are probably fairly close as well. Amen on your thoughts about customer service.

Yeah, well my technical start date (per DPS) was 1/15/16, which was when my last submitted item was received. For some reason, a bunch of people that submitted from 1/13 - 1/15 never received a confirmation until 1/21/16. During one (of MANY) conversations with DPS folks, they all indicated that the confirmation letter is NOT the start date, the date that they "received" the last remaining documentation. The thing with the confirmation letter, is that it's hit or miss. If you don't received one in about a week, DEFINITELY call. I might mean they received anything and for whatever reason the auto-confirm letter did not go out, or that the submission failed somehow and they never got your docs. I would use whatever the last day you submitted something as your start date.

Day 82

The efficiency of DPS is completely underwhelming me at this point . After not receiving anything for a week since my last call, I called the DPS supervisor that initially called me (she was nice enough to provide her phone number to me). Was not sent out on 3/31/16 as I was told it would, but it was sent out to print on 4/5/16. Translation: It's out of the DPS hands now and timing will be based on their print vender and USPS at this point, please allow 7-10 more day from 4/5/16 and Stop Calling Us..... I'm in Round Rock (near Austin) so I hope it won't be nearly that long. Seems like I'm nearing the end of my wait, but still no status change and no plastic, so who really knows.

To be honest though, I have no faith left and will beleive it when I get my card in the mail, which will be anytime between now and September

I'd call and start "shaking the tree" a bit. Seems like the bulk of the apps being processed this week are in the Jan. 11-15th range (myself included ). Most of the folks in your week seems to be either seeing website changes or plastic. Perhaps if you don't see anything by tomorrow, you should request a status check.

I would bet that you are either approved or getting ready to be approved at this point. I called my rep about 8-9 days ago and received a call back a day or two later and they indicated that they are on early-mid January apps and they'd get to mine in "about a week" (I was all in on 1/15/16). Sure enough, I got a call yesterday (3/30/16 - or 75 days) and they told me I was approved and being sent to print that day. They told me to expect my card in about 7 days, which will be 4/6/16, or about 83 calendar days from submission. Hoping it comes sooner, but at least I know it's coming.

Seems like most of the people getting plastic in the last week or so are in that Jan 5-15 range (between 75-85 days). You could call your rep, but at this point, if you haven't called or heard anything already, I bet your plastic will just show up or you'll see a status change prior to your rep being able to hurry the process along too much. My {mental} target day is now 4/6/16, which would be 82 days from "all in to plastic".

Looks like the end of the tunnel is finally in sight for me. As an aside, it looks like if you've called for a status update (either through state rep, DPS Director or Governor), it may not hurry your app along, but it looks like they will call you when you get approved if you request it. That worked for me and a few other in the last few days or so. I do not think they will email you approval based on a few of the recent responses.

Well, its your choice of course, but personally... I think that you answered your own question with the last line. If you submitted online, you should have gotten something. Most others did... even if it was delayed. I was "all in" on Jan 15 and did not see anything for about a week, so I called and the rep confirmed that all my stuff was in and it looked good. I then received an email confirmation a few minutes later. If you were all in on the 2/1 that will be your "clock start" day. I have since confirmed that 1/15 is my clock date, but little good that does me at this point. Sitting at 63 days with nothing.

Personally, it can't hurt to call and confirm that all your stuff is in since you did not receive any confirmation.
